This group from South Carolina was formed in 2005. You, Me and God is the band's debut full-length release on Future Destination Records. Their first release was the three song EP Appointment with Optimist that was released in 2007 on the Emerald City Ruins record label.

The band's lineup is the husband and wife team of Sarah Morris (cello, violin, guitar, piano, vocals) and Ian Morris (guitars, yue qin) along with Joe Walker (percussion) and Caleb Wieters (bass).

I'm not sure of the band member's ages. I'm guessing that they must be in their early twenties, but in the picture included in their press material they look like a group of young teenagers.

This ten-song release only last for 37 minutes but oh what great music the band offers up in those minutes. You, Me and God is filled with an eclectic mix of folk-rock filled with wondrous string sounds. Exotic instruments like the Chinese lute along with more well-known string instruments like the violin and cello are found in the songs.

Also the vocals of Sarah Morris have a very inviting friendly and soothing tone to them. The songs have catchy melodies and well written lyrics.

If the band is putting out this good of music already I can't wait to see what comes next from them with a few more years of seasoning under their musical belts.

I definitely recommend you add Y/Our Sparkle Heart's You, Me and God to your must have music list!
